Your territory
As part of our Firmware team, you will:
- Make sure that production runs smoothly in order to provide as many trackers as possible to keep pets safe around the globe
- Support our various production sites whenever problems occur and minimize production pauses
- Analyze production data (MongoDB scripting queries) and create permanent monitoring concepts
- Continuously improve test processes and tools (speed, first time yield, etc.)
- Calibrate new setups (new manufacturer, new product, etc.)
- Document production setup and keep it up-to-date
- Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
Your profile
Key requirements:
- At least 1 year of embedded firmware experience
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and hardware development
- Experience with MongoDB is a plus
- Experience with electronic manufacturing (ideally in China)
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Willing to travel to visit our manufacturers on site (Dongguan/Shenzhen/Hongkong) ~2-4x/year
- Very good English skills
- Chinese skills (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) are a plus
